원래 저의 직업은 사회복지사였어요. 어려서부터 도움을 많이 받고 자라서, 받은 걸 다시 나누고 싶어 사회복지사가 됐어요. 그러나 현실은 달랐어요. 많이 나누려면 일단 제가 나눌 것이 있어야 겠더라고요. 그래서 사업을 시작했고,
제가 사업을 하면서 얻고 느끼는 것들을 크리에이터로서 나누기 위해 이렇게 지었습니다.
Q. 안정된 직업을 그만둘 때 망설임은 없었나요?
인생에서 딱 1년만 해보자는 생각으로 나왔어요. 당연히 망설였죠. 사회복지사는 월급이 있는 안정된 삶이고, 평생 직업도 가능해요. 하지만 박차고 나온 이유는 더 나은 삶, 내가 얻은 것을 더 많이 베풀 수 있는 삶을 원했기 때문이에요.
Q. 터닝 과정에서 힘들었던 순간이 있나요?
삼각김밥 보면 좀 눈물 나는 게 있어요. 편의점에 가면 삼각김밥과 500원짜리 1+1초콜릿바가 있어요. 그게 저의 한 끼였어요.
길 가다 운 적도 많아요. ‘꿈을 꾸다’라는 노래를 듣다가 길에서 갑자기 울컥하는 거예요.
내가 정말 1년 안에 해낼 수 있을까라는 불안감도 있었죠.
Q. 불안을 이겨내는 방법은?
‘할 수 있다’는 믿음 이 없으면, 아무것도 못 하더라고요. 저는 주변에 정말 많이 물어봤어요. 요즘은 커뮤니티나 클래스101에도 자료가 넘쳐나요. 그런 것들을 참고하면서 혼자가 아닌 시간을 보내셨으면 좋겠어요. 어느 정도 성과가 났을 땐, 나 자신을 믿는 것이 가장 중요해요.
새클래스101 앰버서더, 새로운 도전
Q. 앰배서더로 선정된 후 소감을 말해주세요.
좋은 영향력을 베푸는 사람이 되고 싶어요. 저같이 평범한 사람이 앰버서더가 될 수 있다니 그저 신기해요. 클래스101에서 받은 만큼 나눠드리기 위해, 나를 믿고 클래스를 믿어주신 분들께 어떻게 잘 보답할 수 있을까 항상 고민해요. 그렇게 하나씩 보답하다 보면 제가 만들고 싶은 모두가 함께 잘 사는 세상이 될 거라고 믿고 있어요.
Q. 어떤 영향력을 나누고 싶으세요?
함께니까 할 수 있다는 믿음과 진정성이요. 저는 혼자만 이득 보려고 하는 사람이 끝까지 잘 되는 경우를 못 봤어요. 당장은 좋아 보여도 오래 못 가거나 끝이 좋지 못한 모습을 많이 봤죠. 앰버서더로 활동하면서 혼자가 아닌 함께 해나가면서 알게 되는 것들을 많이 나누고 싶어요.
사랑하는 일을 하며 살아갈 수 있도록
Q. 클래스101은 어떤 존재인가요?
저에게 있어 인생의 변곡점을 가져다준, 기적을 일으켜준 삶 그 자체 같아요. 클래스101을 만난 후 제 삶은 완전히 바뀌었죠. 클래스101과 함께하면서부터 제가 좋아하는 일, 나누는 일을 더 크게 할 수 있다는 것에 대해 굉장히 감사해하고 있습니다.
Q. 기억에 남는 클래스메이트는?
최근에 다니던 직장을 그만두고 월 1천만 원까지 수익을 내시는 수강생을 뵀어요.
믿고 따라주실 때, 그리고 그렇게 잘하고 계시는 분들 뵐 때마다 감사하고 뿌듯함을 많이 느끼는 것 같아요. 이런 순간이 크리에이터로서 활동하는 이유이자 의미라고 생각을합니다.
Q. 사랑하는 일을 하며 산다는 것을 한 문장으로 이야기하면요?
“꿈” 아직 이루지 못하신 분들께는 꿈 같은 일이에요. 하지만 눈 감아서만 꾸는 게 아닌, 현실적으로 이뤄나갈 수 있는 꿈이에요. 이미 이룬 분들은 그 꿈을 지키고 확장해나가며 즐겁게 살아가는 것이라 생각합니다.
Q. 아직 망설이는 분들께
‘죽는 것보다 낫다’ 과격한 표현이지만 저의 선택지는 그랬어요. 도전 앞에서 고민된다면 저는 일단 해봤거든요. 경험 소비가 쌓이고 쌓이면서 많은 결과들을 가져와요. 망설이지 않고 일단 해보면 좋겠어요.
